As a Residential Plumber at Ancla Plumbing, you will be responsible for installing plumbing systems in new homes while adhering to our high standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with Project Managers and Quality Control Inspectors to ensure every installation meets our rigorous standards and exceeds client expectations.


Responsibilities:

  • Install gas systems, soil systems, and top-out installations in new residential homes with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Assess job sites for safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Review schematics, layouts, plot plans, selected options, and potential issues to identify installation requirements and manage material delivery times.
  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers regarding material delivery times, adjustments, and safety concerns.
  • Ensure all installations meet company quality control guidelines, plumbing codes, and are under test conditions for city inspection.
  • Perform pressure tests on systems to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plumbing systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior plumbers and apprentices.
  • Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.
  • Inspect framing to avoid structural issues and communicate any problems.
  • Manage punch-in/punch-out times and work schedules.
  • Fill out forms daily and report any missing or defective materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a plumber with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the plumbing industry, with a focus on new residential construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, layouts, plot plans, and soil minis.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Positive attitude and readiness to work every day.
  • Ability to manage time and tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid plumber's license or certification as required by the state of Arizona.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
  • Experience with project management software and Excel is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Full Time
  • Competitive salary based on performance (Top Performers can make up to $194,000 per year).
